Dining Out for Life

Tidbit will take part for the third year in the 18th annual Dining Out for Life, one of Seattle’s favorite ways to fight AIDS. The last Thursday of April, over 150 restaurants from across the region, including tidbit, come together in support of the fight against HIV and AIDS.

What do you have to do? Just dine out with us on Thursday, April 28th, and we will donate a portion of our daily sales, including food, beverage, and alcohol, to Lifelong AIDS Alliance. Proceeds from Dining Out for Life help to feed those living with chronic illness in the Puget Sound region. Services include pickup and delivery of nutritious meals and groceries, housing assistance, medical insurance coverage, and counseling services. So, come see us April 28th.

A special night for "Dining Out for Life"

Yesterday, Thursday, April 30, 2009 was a great and fun night at tidbit bistro for Dining Out For Life. This is our second year for this promotion and we are happy to donate 30% of our sales to Lifelong AIDS Alliance, and the fight against illness and hunger in our community.

The night was more successful also thanks to the presence of Louise, a gracious volunteer ambassador for Lifelong AIDS Alliance. Louise is a University of Washington exchange student from Denmark. She served as spokespeople for Lifelong AIDS Alliance and Dining Out For Life, and was here to answer questions and invite our guests to become involved. Thank you Louise for helping to create a sense of community support!

Our thank you goes also out to the Lifelong Aids Alliance for their overseeing of the "Dining out for Life" promotion. Finally, we would also like to thank all of our guests who came in yesterday. We are very proud to have had so many people visit us for such a great cause.

Thursday April 30th, we will be participating in this very important benefit for our community. We will donating a portion of our proceeds to Lifelong AIDS Alliance’s program.
