What is Sustainability?

Sustainability means “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”

Common use of the term "sustainability" began with the 1987 publication of the World Commission on Environment and Development report, Our Common Future also known as the Brundtland Report. The principles of sustainability can stimulate technological innovation, advance competitiveness, and improve our quality of life.

At tidbit, we understand the importance of the principles of sustainability and, in our small way, we always try to keep our environment in mind. From time to time we will give you some sustainability e-tips with easy things that we can all do.

Hi, I'm a neighbor who often stops by for dinner. I'd like to congratulate Tidbits on receiving it's certification as a Green Restaurant. See you at brunch soon.
