October New Item on the Menu

We are starting our second year with great news and we are excited to share them with you. With Summer gone and in our effort to be more seasonal, it is time for new changes on the menu. Since we want to be sure that our returning guests will always find something new and tasty, starting in mid-October we are adding a Risotto of the Day and a Chicken of the Day. You will also find at least five daily specials every day:

Tapa of the Day

Formaggio of the Day

Soup of the Day

Risotto of the Day

Chicken of the Day

But that is not all!

A new exciting entrée will be the Rockfish all’Acqua Pazza. The Alaskan Rockfish is a ‘sustainable fish’, widely recognized as the best choice for abundant, well-managed seafood caught in environmentally friendly ways. Our Rockfish all’Acqua Pazza will be prepared according to a traditional Italian recipe, poached in a spicy ‘crazy water’ with clams and mussels, white wine, garlic, fennel, and tomatoes and served on crostoni bread.

The Spezzato Marengo is coming back! This classic beef stew is prepared with red wine, tomatoes, thyme, mushrooms, and pearl onions. This recipe is a re-visitation of the dish that Napoleon's cook prepared on the battlefield using simple, natural ingredients.

Our French Onion Soup will be a great dinner soup for the cold and rainy winter evenings. This is a soup au gratin baked with herbed crostini bread and emmenthal cheese.

We will have a new salad! The Pera Mista prepared with roasted Washington pears, organic mixed greens, gorgonzola, fennel, candied pecan, dried cranberries with a sherry vinaigrette.
