Aperitivo al tidbit bistro - Prendiamo un aperitivo!

Starting in March, it's Aperitivo time at tidbit bistro, Monday through Friday from 5 to 6:30 pm.

What is an aperitivo? An aperitivo is a pre-dinner drink, meant to “open” the palate and it gives you a chance to socialize, relax, and nibble as dinner approaches. The experience of the aperitivo is a consolidated tradition in Italy and Spain. 'Prendiamo un aperitivo?' is something what you hear all the time among friends when when dinner approaches.

What drinks are fit for an aperitivo? Well, first of all there are the classic ones: bitter carbonated drinks like like Crodino, Campari Soda and Sanbitter and drinks based on Aperol and Campari. In recent years, wines by the glass are becoming a common aperitivo.

Bars serve a wide variety of finger food, snacks, or stuzzichini during aperitivo time, which is typically just before dinner time.
