Tidbit Bistro’s new(ish) location at 1401 Broadway recently debuted a happy-hour makeover that comes highly recommended, if for nothing but the price point: Just $1 buys you a glass of house red or white, or a gin, vodka, or rum well drink, from 4-6 p.m. and 9 p.m.-close on Sundays and Tuesdays through Fridays (the restaurant just announced that they will be closing on Mondays). To avoid getting sloshed on a fiver, order from the daily tapas rotation—tiny Spanish dishes like arancino and patatas bravas—that are $4 or less.
